To Wii Fit or not to Wii Fit

Wii Fit

I really can't decide if I should buy Wii Fit or not. I am almost sure that I would never really play the Aerobics or Yoga parts of the game, at least not alone, but the other parts of the game looks like fun: hula hooping, snowboard, ski jumping etc.

Maybe it's better to wait until other games using the balance board is published? Would be cool with skateboard and snowboard games using it.

Macro roses

It was my wifes birthday yesterday, so I bought her some red roses. And beautiful red roses is of course an ideal object for macro photography, so I mounted my Sigma 30mm F1.4 and my Canon EF 12 II extension tube, and shot a few macros.

Later h0bbel noticed me of Canons photo contest, The Assignment, where you are allowed to upload one photo to only one of the four categories: portrait, landscape, sport and macro.

I don't think I will stand a chance, but I think I might try to catch a nice macro photo for the contest anyways.

Mario Kart Wii online

I have spent all night playing Mario Kart Wii online with a big bunch of people from wiinyt.dk - incredibly fun! We were actually too many for all to join in, cool to be able to gather more than 12 around a Wii game a friday night.

If you have a Wii, this game is worth every penny - at least when you gather some people to play. If you have a friend visiting, you can play split-screen online as well.

If you're danish, look forward to the review on wiinyt.dk!

Habarism 1.2

There has been some issues with Habarism 1.1, since the fantastic blogroll plugin were updated.

I have uploaded version 1.2 of the theme with following changes:

  • Fixed support for new blogroll plugin
  • Removed FlickrRSS support, started using flickr's own badge
  • Added support for the Twitter plugin

To download and read about installation, take a look at my downloads page.

Habarism 1.1

I just submitted my theme changes to the habari-extras trac, which in other words means, that an updated version is available from the usual download link.

A nice little feature in 1.1 is that when you are logged in on the blog, the drafts will be shown a little opaque, so it is extra easy to tell drafts from published entries.

If you would like to see Habarism in action, please feel free to browse around this blog - you are looking at it.
