Habarism 1.1

I just submitted my theme changes to the habari-extras trac, which in other words means, that an updated version is available from the usual download link.

A nice little feature in 1.1 is that when you are logged in on the blog, the drafts will be shown a little opaque, so it is extra easy to tell drafts from published entries.

If you would like to see Habarism in action, please feel free to browse around this blog - you are looking at it.

To read more about installation and a few things to notice, take a look at my downloads page.

Bible design

At work, one of our main competences is bible design. As a part of a marketing campaign with Jongbloed we have taken a lot of photos for a book about bible design.

Earlier this spring we visited Rosendahl to look at their huge private bible collection, with printed bibles more than 500 years old. All the photos can be seen here, but here is a few of my favorites:

Martin Luther's plattdüütsch bible

Gustav Vasa Bible

Facsimile of Gutenberg's 1455/56 42-line Bible

Later we visited Jongbloed to take photos of the production of bibles. All my photos can be seen here, but here is a few of the best:

Later I would like to show a few more photos of the design and typesetting phase, a few more from Jongbloed and of course, when the book about bible design is done, I'll upload a lot of photos of that.
