I have spent all night playing Mario Kart Wii online with a big bunch of people from wiinyt.dk - incredibly fun! We were actually too many for all to join in, cool to be able to gather more than 12 around a Wii game a friday night.

If you have a Wii, this game is worth every penny - at least when you gather some people to play. If you have a friend visiting, you can play split-screen online as well.

I have been playing a little around with funny IRC bots today for the IRC channel of a big danish Wii community, wiinyt.dk (#wiinyt @ irc.wiinyt.dk).

I stumbled across PircBot, and two bots based on the API, PieSpy and Comic Bot.

PieSpy is really cool, and I think I am going to stick with it. It generates a social networking chart based on conversations on the IRC channel. The closer names are located to each others, and the thicker the line between them is, the more they have spoken together - take a look at these:

Comic Bot is quite fun - it is listening to conversations on the IRC channel, and whenever it "think" something fun has been said, it generates a comic strip from a series of comic-strip templates. I'm not going to keep it online though, but still here is a couple of strips (sorry about the danish):
